3-D Areola & Nipple Tattoo Restoration
Our goal at Secret Guru Permanent Makeup & Paramedical Tattooing is to create realistic and hyper 3D results. We care about each client and know how important it is to feel and look your best. This is a big celebratory step in the process and we are honored to be able to offer this service.
If a client is looking to restore their areola/nipple area from a mastectomy, we will fill out a Letter Of Medical Necessity with all treatment CPT codes, the technicians NPI number, date of procedure, costs, and treatment location. In most cases you can submit this form to your insurance for an out of pocket expense for reimbursement*. If unsure if your insurance will reimburse, please call them prior to booking. (Please read below).

Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA)
The Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 (WHCRA) is a federal law that provides protections to patients who choose to have breast reconstruction in connection with a mastectomy.
If WHCRA applies to you and you are receiving benefits in connection with a mastectomy and you elect breast reconstruction, coverage must be provided for:

All stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy has been performed;

Surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance; and
-
Prostheses and treatment of physical complications of all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema.
This law applies to two different types of coverage:

Group health plans (provided by an employer or union);

Individual health insurance policies (not based on employment).

Restoration Tattooing
A tattooing method to re-pigment areas of the areola to blend in with surrounding tissue to match color and shape to the client's desire. This is two step procedure with an initial appointment and then a touch up 4-6 weeks later.
Breast Scar
Camouflage
This can benefit clients who have hypo-pigmented scars from breast surgery. For hyperpigmentation Ink-less Tattooing can be beneficial after a test patch. This procedure price is based on each case. Multiple sessions may be required depending on skin, health, and size of the area.
3-D Nipple & Areola
Tattoo Restoration
Recreating a 3-dimensional nipple and areola through realistic tattooing. Shape and color is chosen with the client to meet expectations. This procedure is two steps- one initial appointment and a touch up 4-6 weeks later.
